Education is the fundamental for healthcare professionals. The nurturing of a competent healthcare staff member relies on solid education background and appropriate practical experience. The English saying “the proof of the pudding is in the eating” or knowledge is only useful after it has been tried out and used, certainly applies to the healthcare profession. As love forms the cornerstone of all that we do, staffs in my School are expected to teach with love and dedication, and act as role models for students to follow. Students are taught to serve and live up to the patients’ expectations. Teachers will guide students to think critically, and to internalize their love and compassion for mankind in general.
Our Department
The Department was established in October 2010. To meet the increasing demand for medical specialties in Hong Kong, the Department aims to provide diverse and professional programmes in the various disciplines of Health Sciences, with a view to preparing students for professional careers in medical and health services.
