Born, raised and educated in Hong Kong, the now-established fashion stylist, art director and founder of Crush Association is a homebred talent through and through. Graduated from Hong Kong’s Caritas Bianchi College of Careers, Shek began her journey as a makeup artist, but soon found her calling in fashion as she participated in styling jobs for movies by Hong Kong filmmaker duo, the Pang brothers. It didn’t take long for her talent to be recognised, too. In 2010, she became the crown winner of the first edition of Hong Kong’s Fashion World Talent Awards (FWTA), which opened the doors for her fashion styling career.

Highlights of her achievements thereafter include her appointment as fashion editor of Taiwan’s Zine magazine in 2015, and the style director of Emperor Entertainment Group in 2017. She was also the appointed stylist for celebrities such as Eason Chan and Kay Tse, amongst others. But of course, the most important highlight of all would have to be the establishment of her own creative studio, Crush Association, through which, together with her team of fashion creatives, she has built an impressive portfolio of art direction, production and styling work from magazine editorials (both local and international, including Vogue Italia) to commercials, movie productions, music albums and many more.
